Welcoming Baby Toney with a Shower

On Saturday, September 13, St. John UMC began it’s welcome of Baby Boy Toney with a Baby Shower! We had balloons, food galore, CAKE with booties, cupcakes and punch. There were enough baby gifts to fill the back of Pastor Chris and Monica’s car so that Pastor Chris could not see out the rear view mirror. Craft Fair and Car Show Coming Soon!!

The Jenny Brumley Memorial Craft Fair and 3rd Annual Car Show is coming to St. John UMC.  We will have homemade crafts available by many vendors. Classic Cars and many opportunities for people to purchase items like bean soup, cornbread, hamburgers, and sweets from the Sweet Shop. There will be items up for bid in a Silent Auction.  The Car Show has trophies and a 50/50 pot with proceeds benefitting St. Benedict’s Men’s Shelter. Also…

Camp Firelight VBS

  Camp Firelight Vacation Bible School is right around the corner. Actually right at a month away!! Isn’t that exciting?! We at St. John love this time to reach out to our Community and the children in our area. Pastor Chris and Monica Toney have joined us at St. John United Methodist Church. Pastor Chris is not new to the area. He has been an Associate Pastor at Settle Memorial United Methodist for about 3 years.
