In Children’s Church, the children are learning about the people and stories in the Bible. Recently they heard the story about Lazarus and how Jesus was asked to rush to his house because he was so sick. The children learned that Jesus got there too late and performed a miracle by asking Lazarus to rise and shake off his ‘cloths’ and walk out of his house. Recently in January we celebrated everyone’s birthdays in the church by having a birthday potluck. Each month gets their own birthday table or this year we combined months to make it easier to mingle with others. Great food and fellowship was had and it was a great way to get people out in the dreary winter month of January.  March we celebrated St. Patrick’s Day with some Irish foods or at least some ‘green’ foods…

He has been an Associate Pastor at Settle Memorial United Methodist for about 3 years. St. John took up food items for the Help Office once again and were able to help 37 adults and 23 children with 20 orders total in the first day. What a blessing! Margaret Pickerill crocheted a carload of hats and scarves she donated to the Help Office to be handed out to those in need, as well. St. John’s members have hearts for others!
