St. John United Methodist Women

The United Women of Faith or UWF is a community of women within the church who have a heart for helping women and children across the world.  Meeting monthly, they organize different activities, fundraisers, and events that help women and children both locally and globally.  Their past events have included a Chili Supper that supported overseas missions, a Christmas drive for the Mary Kendall Home, our annual Hat and Mitten Tree which collects winter items for local organizations, and so much more.  The UWF is always open to new members!

St. John Methodist Men

Meeting the third Saturday of each month for breakfast, the Methodist Men is a thriving group of men of all ages within the church.  Their famous breakfast, prepared by the men themselves, draws people from all across Owensboro!  Besides eating, the MM have a time of devotion and sharing by various members of the community and congregation.  They also fund-raise for issues within the church.  The MM is a great opportunity for the men of St. John and elsewhere to build their faith through fellowship and support.

The Help of Office of Owensboro

The Help Office is a ministry where we not only give a special offering to, but we collect donations of food and toiletries for them throughout the year.   During Thanksgiving, we as a church make a big push to support their efforts by filling brown bags with items that the Help Office has specifically stated they need during that time.
