In Children’s Church, the children are learning about the people and stories in the Bible.

Recently they heard the story about Lazarus and how Jesus was asked to rush to his house because he was so sick. The children learned that Jesus got there too late and performed a miracle by asking Lazarus to rise and shake off his ‘cloths’ and walk out of his house. You can see pictures below of the children wrapping Miss Sondra in ‘cloth’. They had so much fun and thought this was very funny.

We learned about being ‘Lambs of God’ and ‘where he leads me I will follow’. The children started by using a crook to gather sheep balloons in one room before going to our class. We had so much fun making our sheep and covering them in cotton balls!

At Easter, we made banners that shouted ‘Hosanna!’ The children were so excited about Jesus being risen! We even had a “bunny” among us that day. 

For Mother’s day we painted pots one week and planted a flower to take to mom in them the next week. This is a favorite of the children. They love to make things for others and especially their loved ones. We had a big crowd that day with 12! Luckily, I bought extra plants:)
